Lexington mourns Robert "Manny" Robertson a Life of Kindness and Community gone too soon
Robert 'Manny' Robertson a beloved figure in Lexington, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on 15 September 2025, at the age of 48, leaving a void in the community that he had touched deeply.
Manny was known for his warmth, his compassion, and his ability to make those around him feel seen and valued. Born on December 6th, 1976, Manny was an everyday hero in the truest sense. He never waited for special occasions to express care, remembering birthdays and offering unwavering empathy on tough days. Whether organizing local events or simply checking in with friends, Manny was always at the heart of everything, not for recognition, but because he genuinely cared.
His passing has left Lexington in mourning, as friends, family, and all who knew him reflect on the quiet impact he had in the community. “Manny’s legacy lives on in the little moments of kindness,” shared one local resident.
A visitation for Manny will be held on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Southern Hills United Methodist Church in Lexington.
